1/12/2024 0 Comments Lastpass extension firefox not![]() ![]() I haven't been able to reproduce it - as I can't think how to deliberately generate a warning without waiting for a session to timeout. I could then login - at which point the plugin icon went red, and all seemed well again. ![]() The work around was to right-click on the extension to bring up a context menu, click on "lastpass", which opened the full vault in a new tab. ![]() However when I clicked on it to log back in - the animating safe appeared - and never disappeared (well - not within about 30 or 40 seconds, which was the longest my patience would last). Last pass's extension goes yellow to display a warning (not unusual either - annoying, because it doesn't really achieve anything, but not unusual). This includes settings for browser logout, notifications, hotkeys, and much more. Problem is - my session timed out (nothing unusual). Manage your LastPass browser extension preferences to set up your LastPass extension (per browser) in a way that works best for you. For example when you first sign in at the start of a new session. In the latest version of the LastPass extension for firefox (as of today or yesterday I think) at various times a little animation of a safe gets displayed, with the wheel on the front twirling around. Tl:dr - when a yellow warning is displayed in the Firefox LastPass extension, the new animated safe thing doesn't go away, so you can't dismiss the warning. One of the more interesting features of Bitdefender's new password manager is that it provides two different ways to recover your account if you happen to forget or lose your master password. ![]()
